Safety

There are no problems for your colonies if you use ecologically safe and harmless preparations in agriculture.

However, if chemical preparations for protection are used, bumblebee workers or the whole colony could be exposed to harmful effects.

• These effects are direct in case of contaminated pollen consumption, when workers are disabled of flying, or even die.
• The indirect effect is the situation in which workers ignore flowers because chemical preparation change it's scent and flavour.
