Bring the beehive to your crops and open it in half an hour.

When the beehive is brought in, put it on a base, it should be 0,5–1m above the ground. It's important to leave it in horizontal position and protected from direct sun-rays and rain.

It's good if the hive is exposed to the sun in winter and early spring, but if temperature rises over 30°C, we recommend making some kind of a shelter for the hive.

After 3 or 4 weeks, the back side of a hive can be lifted up for 5mm, which guarantees whole liquid food will be used.

Before you open the hive for the first time, make sure that all the openings for ventilation are closed. It's advisable to open the hive in the late afternoon, so that the workers can do their first orientation flight. During that flight bumblebees will already pollinate.

The greenhouse temperature should be between 18°C and 30°C.
